ফান্ডিংয়ের সুযোগসমূহ:
1. Assistantships:
Michigan State University-র প্রায় সব বিভাগেই মাস্টার্স এবং পিএইচডি উভয় লেভেলেই Assistantship পাবার সুযোগ রয়েছে। এই Assistantship গুলো পেলে ফুল টিউশন ওয়েইভার, হেলথ ইন্স্যুরেন্স, মাসিক স্টাইপেন্ডসহ আরও অনেক সুযোগ সুবিধা দেয়া হয়। এক্ষেত্রে Undergraduate Teaching বা Research কাজের বিভিন্ন দায়িত্ব পালন করতে হবে। Assistantship গুলো পাবার জন্য ভালো একাডেমিক স্কোর, ইংরেজি ভাষা দক্ষতা, বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় লেভেলে পড়ানোর অভিজ্ঞতা ইত্যাদি বিবেচনা করা হয়।
2. Fellowships:
মাস্টার্স এবং পিএইচডি লেভেলের এসব Fellowships টিউশন ফিসহ অনেক ক্ষেত্রেই লিভিং কস্টও কাভার করে থাকে। তবে Fellowship গুলো পেলে Assistantship-এর মতো কোনো কাজের দায়িত্ব পালন করতে হবে না। Michigan State University-তে এই দুটো ফেলোশিপসহ আরও বেশ কয়েকটি ফেলোশিপ অফার করে থাকে।
3. External Funding:
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের External fund থেকেও শিক্ষার্থীদের আর্থিক সহায়তা দেয়া হয়ে থাকে। বিভিন্ন অর্গানাইজেশন এবং প্রাইভেট রিসোর্স থেকে এই ফান্ডগুলো সংগ্রহ করা হয়। ফান্ডিংগুলোর বেশিরভাগই সাধারণত এককালীন প্রদান করা হয়।
4. Employment:
অন্যান্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মতো Michigan State University-তেও অন-ক্যাম্পাস জবের সুযোগ রয়েছে। এই জবগুলোতে সাধারণত ঘন্টা হিসেবে পারিশ্রমিক দিয়ে থাকে। শিক্ষার্থীরা সপ্তাহে সর্বোচ্চ ২৯ ঘন্টা কাজ করার অনুমতি পেয়ে থাকেন।
