নতুন একেকটা বছর আসে আবার দেখতে না দেখতে চলে যায়। অনেকে দেখা যায় বছর শেষে বেশ কিছু কাজ শেষ করেছে আবার অনেকে হয়তো খুব রেগুলার কাজ যেমন সেমেস্টার শেষ করা, জবের আরেকটা বছর শেষ হবে বা র্যান্ডমলি চাকুরী খুজতে খুজতে আর জবের পরীক্ষা দিয়ে শেষ করবে। বেশ কিছু কাজ তাদেরই হয় যারা বছরের শুরুতেই সারা বছরে কি কি করবে তার একটা প্ল্যান করে, আর সেগুলোকে কোয়ার্টারলি ও মান্থলি ভাগ করে শেষ করে।
কি নিয়ে প্ল্যান করা যায়? স্টুডেন্ট দের এ বছরের সেমেস্টার গুলো নিয়ে প্ল্যান থাকতে পারে। একাডেমিক রেজাল্ট নিয়ে একটা প্রজেকশান করা ভাল। সাথে এ বছর কি কি স্কিলে ফোকাস করতে হবে সেটা ও ভেবে রাখা যায়। যেমন- একদম ব্যাসিক থেকে বললে মাইক্রোসফট অফিস টা শেখার প্ল্যান করা যায়। খুব ভাল করে ওয়ার্ড, এক্সেল ও পাওয়ারপয়েন্ট শিখলে এটা ছাত্র জীবনে কাজে তো লাগবেই, যে কোন চাকুরীর ক্ষেত্রে ও অনেক কাজে লাগে। যদি কোন প্রোগ্রামিং শেখা যায়, তাহলে সেটার প্রচুর বেনফিট পাওয়া যাবে। এছাড়া কিছু সফট স্কিল যেমন- প্রেজেন্টেশন, কমিউনিকেশন, টিম-ওয়ার্ক এর মত স্কিল গুলো আয়ত্ত করার প্ল্যান করা যায়।
আমরা সারা জীবন ইংরেজি শিখি। সে ক্লাশ ওয়ান থেকে একাদশ তারপরে অনার্সে ও ইংরেজি শিখতে থাকি, কিন্তু দিন শেষে না পারি ভালো বুঝতে, বলতে বা লিখতে। এটা একেবারে গোড়ায় গন্ডগোল বলা যায়। ইংরেজিকে একটা ভাষা হিসবে না শিখে শুধুমাত্র পরীক্ষায় পাশের একটা সাব্জেক্ট হিসেবে পড়েই এ সমস্যা। এবার একটা কাজ করেন, এটাকে ভাষা হিসেবে শেখার পরিকল্পনা হাতে নেন। চারটা স্কিল যে আছে, সেগুলা থেকে ২ টা টার্গেট করেন যেমন- রাইটিং আর স্পিকিং। তারপর লেগে যান যতক্ষণ না ভাল বলতে বা লিখতে পারছেন। ১ বছরে ২ টায় ফোকাস করে একদম দক্ষ হয়ে গেলে, পরের বছর বাকি ২ টায় ফোকাস করা যাবে।
এসবের পাশাপাশি কিছু বই পড়ার পরিকল্পনা করা যেতে পারে। যে বই গুলো গল্প বা উপন্যাসে সীমাবদ্ধ হবেনা বরং নন-ফিকশন বা যে বই গুলো পড়লে চিন্তার নতুন জগত উন্মোচিত হয়, তেমন বইয়ের প্ল্যান করতে হবে। নন-ফিকশন পড়ার অভ্যাস না থাকলে অভ্যাস করা দরকার। নিজেকে জানতে বা নিজের ট্রু পটেনশিয়াল উপলব্ধি করতে এ বই গুলো কাজে দেয়।
যদি কেউ অনার্সের শেষের দিকে বা মাস্টার্স এ থাকেন, তাহলে ক্যারিয়ার নিয়ে সিরিয়াসলি ভাবা শুরু করতে হবে। দেশে চাকুরী না বিদেশে উচ্চ-শিক্ষা? চাকুরী হলে সরকারী না বেসরকারী? নাকি নিজেকে উদ্যোক্তা হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে চান? আগ্রহের জায়গা টা প্লিজ খুজে বের করার পেছনে সময় দেন। হুজুগে দৌড় দেয়াটা এবার আমাদের বন্ধ করতে হবে। এটা বড় একটা কাজ যেটা আমরা অধিকাংশই জীবনে খুজে পাইনা আর কিছু একটা করে কাটিয়ে দেই।
প্ল্যান করতে হবে SMART ফর্মুলা ফলো করে। সেটা নিয়ে একদিন লিখবো কিন্তু আমরা যে ভুল করি সেটা হলো অনেক অনেক কিছু একসাথে করার প্ল্যান করি, তারপর এসব নিয়ে মাথার উপর প্রেসার ফিল করে কিছু করিনা। তাই, বুঝে শুনে টাইম নিয়ে প্ল্যান করা দরকার। বছর শেষে যেন ফিরে তাকালে নিজেকে বলা যায় এ বছর আমার এচিভমেন্ট এটা, ওটা, সেটা। যেগুলা মেজারেবল বা ইম্প্রুভমেন্ট নিজে থেকেই বুঝতে পারবেন।
তো, খাতা কলম নিয়ে বসে যান যদি এখনো ২০২১ এর কোন প্ল্যান না করা হয়। আমাকে ধন্যবাদ টা না হয় বছর শেষেই দিয়েন যখন অনেক গুলা কাজ হয়ে যাবে! শুভকামনা।
