কিছুদিন আগে পাল দাদার মোটিভেশন নিয়ে পোস্ট করার পর দাদা লাভাররা আমার পোস্টে রেগে মেগে কমেন্ট করেছেন। তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানিয়েছেন ওনাকে নিয়ে পাব্লিক্যালি এহেন খারাপ পোস্ট দেয়ার জন্য। আপনাদের আবেগকে আমি শ্রদ্ধা করি আর পাল দাদাকে আমি কিন্তু কোন গালি দেইনি বা কটু কথা বলিনি। জাস্ট কিছু প্রশ্ন করেছিলাম ওনার বিসিএস মোটিভেশনে আর ওনার বর্তমান অবস্থা তুলে ধরেছিলাম (ওনাকে ব্যাপক দূর্নীতির দায়ে ট্রান্সফার করা হয়েছে, আর এটাই জাস্ট বলেছিলাম বলে অনেকে ক্ষেপে গেসেন, কেন আল্লাহ মালুম)। যাক, কারো কথা গায়ে মাখিয়ে মনের শান্তি নষ্ট করতে চাইনি বলে কাওকে রিপ্লাই করিনি।
কিছু কমেন্টকে একসাথে করে একটা রিপ্লাই করতে চাই। উনি মোটিভেশন দেন বিসিএস ক্যাডার হতে যেহেতু উনি ক্যাডার, আর আমি কিছু তথ্য দিয়ে গাইড করি বিদেশে পড়াশুনা সহ প্রাইভেট সেক্টরে ক্যারিয়ার বা এন্ট্রেপ্রেনেউরশিপ নিয়ে। এখন আমার প্রশ্নটা ছিল, লাখ লাখ মানুষকে মোটিভেট করে যে বিসিএস বা সরকারী চাকুরীর কথা বলছি, সেখানে সব মিলিয়ে কতজন আসলেই চাকুরী করতে পারেন বছরে? আর আমি বা আমরা যারা উচ্চ-শিক্ষার জন্য ডাকছি, সেখানে সুযোগ কেমন? কোনটা বাংলাদেশের প্রেক্ষাপটে বাস্তব সম্মত? আমাদের বেকারত্বের হারের দিকে তাকালে কি মনে হয়? খুব ভালো কিছু করছি কি আমরা? যদি একটু নিজেরাই চিন্তা করেন এ প্রশ্ন গুলো নিয়ে, তাহলে আর রাইট বা রঙ নিয়ে প্রশ্নই আসেনা।
দিন শেষে, আপনি আপনার লেখা বা বক্তব্যে জনসাধারণকে কিসে উদ্ভুদ্ধ করছেন বা ডাকছেন, সেটা নিয়ে চিন্তা থাকা উচিত বলে মনে করি। যখন দেশে বেকার সমস্যার উল্লেখযোগ্য কোন সমাধান আসছে না, সেহেতু অসম কম্পিটিশনের দিকে না দৌড়ে এ বিশাল দুনিয়ার অন্য কোথাও নিজের মেধা আর যোগ্যতা সেল করে ভালো থাকা যায়। এটা মেধা পাচার না রে ভাই, এটা এখন মেধা মূল্যায়নের পর্যায়ে পড়ে। চীন ও ইন্ডিয়া ইতোমধ্যে প্রমাণ করে দিয়েছে উচ্চ-শিক্ষায় যাওয়া ও চাকুরীর ক্ষেত্রে বিশ্বের বড় কোম্পানীর পজিশন গুলো দখল করলে নিজের দেশ কত বেনেফিটেড হয়। ইন্ডিয়া এ জন্য গুগল মাইক্রোসফট এর কাছ থেকে বিলিয়ন ডলারের ইনভেস্টমেন্ট পায়, আর আমরা!
এ্যানিওয়ে, আমরা যা নিয়ে কাজ করছি, সেটার বেনেফিট হয়তো অনেকে এখনো বুঝছেনা কিন্তু সময়ে অবশ্যই টের পাওয়ার কথা। দেশ কি করবে সেদিকে না তাকিয়ে যদি নিজের চেষ্টা করে যান, তাহলে ভাল কিছু হবে। মনে রাখতে হবে, উচ্চ-শিক্ষায় কোন কোটা নেই, বৈষম্য নেই, মামা-খালু নেই, আছে শুধু নিজের যোগ্যতার প্রমাণ। বাকী সিদ্ধান্ত আপনাদের। দ্রুতই বুঝতে শিখুক বাংলাদেশের অদম্য মেধাবীরা।
